Lasagne and tagliatelle, cappelletti and ravioli, maltagliati and fettuccine: with Pasta Academy, you can learn to prepare them all by yourself. An original course to discover one of the most genuine traditions of our lands. A series of entertaining lessons to become acquainted with the art of fresh egg pasta, with exceptional teachers and true experts in the subject; the housewives of Acqualagna and the province of Pesaro and Urbino. Come to Pasta Academy and practice with our teachers: we will prepare the pasta, cook it with its sauce and, fi nally, lunch together!

An ancient art from the kitchens of the Marche region

Fresh egg pasta is the famous pasta, unrivalled for taste, from the Marche region and one of the essential preparations in kitchens throughout Italy! Combined with the most diverse ingredients it gives life to an infi nity of local dishes, like the exquisite “tagliatelle with truffl es” from Acqualagna. In Italian families, it is the grandmothers who make fresh egg pasta: they stretch it and knead it with care, guarding and passing on the secrets of their recipe. You will learn the ancient techniques of this precious knowledge directly from the housewives.

TIME Every Wednesday from 9th June to 22nd September 2010, from 10 AM to 2.30 PM.
VENUE «Palazzo del Gusto», piazza E. Mattei, Acqualagna (PU).
HOW The participants will be guided in the preparation of the pasta, and a different type of pasta each time. The preparation of the dish and lunch will follow.
TASTING SESSIONS Taste local products at each lesson with food experts on hand to provide explanations.
