A dive in the Renaissance, including stories of castles, ancient recipes and the art of falconers. Piobbico is one of the most fascinating "hidden" places to discover in the Marches. Once inside the Castle Brancaleoni, passing the ancient Porta Candigliano, you will find yourself immersed in a beautiful, almost unreal, atmosphere, as if you were suddenly back in the past.Think that the wonderful Castle Brancaleoni has 130 rooms in all, most of which can be visited.After the visit you'll meet a falconer who will present you the art of the hawker. The immersion in the past continues to the inn Il Burchio, where you can taste typical local food and wine, flavoured by the tale of stories related to the food served, from the "lamb Coratella", to the "Passatelli with chickpeas and mushrooms," to the "Tagliatelle with sloes"and “Roast Rabbit with sweet-and-sour spring onions". You'll ending this day with a special black truffle dinner in Acqualagna. An historical and sensorial experience that will not easily forget!
